The EFB is currently running an HIV/AIDS program sponsored by PACT (Part of the US HIV/AIDS funding) and SIM. The program, “Reaching out to your communities” currently has 40 local churches enrolled and empowers the local churches to run HIV/AIDS intervention programs. The churches enrolled are running outreach programs that give life skills to young people in their localities. The next phase of the program will enable the enrolled churches to implement home based care, orphan and vulnerable children’s programs.

The program is currently funded by PACT (part of the emergency funding by the USA government) and Serving In Mission (through Flying Mission). Previous donors include Samaritan’s Purse.

At the moment 40 local churches are enrolled and volunteers have been trained in life skills and they are in turn conducting community outreaches in their localities.
